Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Geoff McFetridge is one of the most influential graphic designers coming from the West Coast. Founding his own design studio, Champion Graphics, in 1996, his personal style – a mixture of free hand doodling, typefaces and multiple cultural references– has earned him recognition from all around the globe, aswell as works for the Beastie Boys, Marc Jacobs, Sofia Copolla, ESPN, Chocolate Skateboards or Dazed & Confused, amongst others.
Illustration, design, motion graphics and art are all fields which Geoff has taken over, always with a remarkable result. All his work has eventually lead to different awards and honorable mentions from the likes of the Art Directors Club, ID Magazine or D&AD. McFetridge has just finished a show at MU in Eindhoven and recently published the book Bend the Void.
